What Is Accreditation Plus?

All Our Kin is thrilled to present a pilot seven-part professional learning series for family child care educators.

Participants will:

Build skills, knowledge, and self-confidence around early childhood content and teaching practices, through a hands-on, participatory approach
Explore key indicators of high-quality programs through a framework of NAFCC standards
Develop trusting relationships for learning in a supportive cohort model that centers relationships and cultural responsiveness

Hybrid structure (four virtual, and three in person sessions)

Offered in English and Spanish (simultaneous interpretation)

Background

Series content developed and facilitated by All Our Kin Educational Coaches, with support from All Our Kin’s Program and Learning Team.

Application Requirements

- Applicants must be licensed, and currently operating and working in FCC program
- Currently have a minimum of 2 full-time children enrolled other than their own
- Attend the required Accreditation series information and application session on March 13, 2024

Series Credit/Graduation Certificate

- Attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged. Up to 2 absences are permitted for program completion.
- Participants will complete a project or share a presentation.
