All Our Kin values family child care as an important source of affordable, intimate, culturally relevant, high-quality child care. We believe strongly in an integrated community of early childhood professionals, and we make every effort to offer bilingual services and materials, and to make our programs accessible to many different neighborhoods and towns in the greater New Haven area. Though our Network is made up of a diverse group of individuals who come from many different racial, ethnic, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, they all share a deep commitment to high-quality early education for all children.

Since its inception in 2002, the All Our Kin Family Child Care Network has greatly expanded families' access to the high-quality care that children so desperately need, while also meeting the professional needs of the family child care providers who serve them. Our Network reaches over 150 child care providers, who in turn care for over 900 children in the community. As a result of the Network's services, home-based providers are improving their practice, and many more children are getting the high-quality care and education they deserve.
